Phishing with fake Endesa bills

Phishing is a type of online scam that can lead to fraud. It involves using the identity of an entity (a bank, a power company, any company) by using elements of their corporate identity (falsifying their emails and websites).

 

The aim of cyber-crooks is for you to believe you are receiving an official communication from a company you use. They then ask you to enter confidential personal data.

 

In October 2017, we identified a fraudulent campaign simulating Endesa notifications, which included informing customers of an unpaid bill and inviting them to enter their bank card details.

 

This email is false and is sent from the following email address: endesaonline_atencionalcliente@online.de. This email does not belong to Endesa.

 

Ignore this email and, if in doubt, always visit the official Customer Service section on Endesa’s website: www.endesaclientes.com.
