It is the main electricity distribution company in Spain in terms of number of customers in the regulated market, with a share of 43 %.
 
 
 
Our electricity transportation and distribution lines total 321,463 km in length, 40% of which are underground cables. To date, we have built 1,240 substations and 130,858 transformation centres.

Endesa sells electricity in the Spanish open market through Endesa Energy, which has consolidated its market position as a supplier  of reference in the main economic sectors. It reaches a market share of 43.1 % in sales to customers on the open market.
