Bills with estimated consumption are always regularised with the next bill issued, which reflects the true meter reading.
We illustrate two example scenarios possibly encountered by an Endesa customer:
1. We've billed an amount less than your actual consumption.
-
In June you receive a bill with an estimated reading and with a consumption of 100kWh.
-
The following month, July, you receive a bill with a real reading with a consumption of 300 kWh, that corresponds to actual consumption for the months of June and July.
-
Since in June you were billed for a consumption of 100kWh, in July's bill you will have to pay the difference; that is, pay the 200 kWh not yet billed.
2. We've billed an amount greater than your actual consumption.
-
In June you receive a bill with an estimated reading and with a consumption of 300 kWh.
-
The following month you receive a bill with a real reading with a consumption of 200 kWh, that corresponds to actual consumption for the months of June and July.
-
Since in June you were billed for an estimated consumption of 300kWh, in July's bill you will receive a credit for the difference; that is, the 100 kWh not consumed.
