Choose the customer segment to which you belong
We offer different products and services depending on whether you are looking for solutions for your home or your business.
It is a new billing system included in the Resolution of 2 June 2015, by the Secretary of State for Energy, pursuant to which you will be billed according to your electricity consumption per hour, with the prices being applied as established at that time by the energy market.
In order to be billed per hour you must have a contract with an Authorised Distributer, a smart meter integrated into the remote management systems and a contracted power of less than or equivalent to 10kW.
The prices of electricity per hour are available the day before from 20:15h on the Red Eléctrica de España (REE) (Spanish Transmission System Operator) website, www.ree.es. You can also check the prices from previous days.

The new billing per hour system will help you to know how much power you are using, so you can adjust your consumption to the lower cost hours.
Once you receive your first bill with this new billing system, you will see a chart outlining your consumption per hour, showing you how much power you have consumed in lower and higher cost hours. This chart is available:
You do not have to do anything. If you have the VPSC tariff with a contracted power lower than, or equivalent to, 10kW, as soon as your meter reading is remotely managed, you will automatically be billed by hourly consumption.

With the smart meter integrated into the remote management system, your meter is remotely read automatically, without a technician having to visit your home to read your meter and without you having to provide your reading.
Pursuant to the provisions of Resolution of 2 June 2015, by the Secretary of State for Energy, Reference Reseller Company until 1 October 2015 to start billing their customers on an hourly basis.
Remember that in order to be billed per hour you must have a smart meter installed integrated into the remote management systems and a contract with a Reference Reseller Company and a contracted power of less than or equivalent to 10kW.
If you have a smart meter but it is not integrated yet, you will still be billed by applying the average consumer profile, created by the Red Eléctrica based on consumer behaviour patterns.
Before 2019 all smart meters will be integrated in to the remote management systems and therefore all households with VPSC will be billed per hour.

Endesa Energía XXI – Authorised Distributer will send you a letter before issuing your first bill, informing you of the start of the billing by hour system.

No, you do not have to be registered, you can access your consumption via the Endesa Customers’ Homepage by clicking on the section Manage your account in one minute. You simply have to enter your Tax Identification Number (NIF) and your contract number and you will be able to view all the information concerning your hourly consumption.
However, remember that from your private area, My Endesa it is much easier to view this information, without having to enter your contract number. Furthermore, from My Endesa you will be able to carry out all the procedures and processes related to your contracts and bills.

This is a consumption model or pattern used by the Red Eléctrica Española (REE) to calculate the price of electricity for the VPSC (previously Last Resort Tariff).
It reflects the way in which customers consume electricity throughout the day.
It is the owner of the electricity grid responsible for physically providing your home with electricity. It is also responsible for guaranteeing the quality of the service, for reading the meters, maintaining the installations, managing and repairing faults.
A reseller company purchases the energy from the producer, pays the cost of the transportation to the distributing company and sells the electricity to end consumers.
Therefore, you contract your electricity or gas supply with the reseller company, who bills you and carries out any changes, modifications and answers any queries concerning your contract.
Consumers are entitled to freely choose the reseller company that supplies the electricity. The change of distributing company does not involve any changes to your installation or supply interruptions.
